Some clients came to me and wanted me to replicate a dining table they had fallen in love with from a restaurant on the Oregon Coast. It is in the French country style, as is their newly remodeled home. The top is 10′ long, 4′ wide, 2″ thick, and built from premium grade Alder. Two custom-made 7/8″ thick curved iron bars hold the table together and give it an old-world feel. Two coats of tung oil on the tables surface give it an unpolished, rustic look, and allow it to be easily repaired throughout its life.
